Lots of Changes over the Years

     Many doubles can still be found within the French Quarter.   Some are purely residential while others are rented out for income purposes.   Other people have converted these doubles into singles — taking down the walls to enjoy the beautiful architecture, particularly that of the shotgun doubles.   Many of the Quarter’s inhabitants do not like to venture away from their home or their jobs, so living near their workplace is a perfect and ideal situation.   Doubles have also been converted to condos.  Condos in the French quarter makes this a great second home for home buyers to enjoy living part of their time in the New Orleans French Quarter area.
