Crescent Park in New Orleans

Along The Mississippi River

Edge of Marigny and Bywater Neigborhoods

The Crescent Park runs from Elysian Fields in the Marigny to Mazant Street in the Bywater Neighborhoods of New Orleans. The Park is 1.4 miles long, 20 acres and lies between the railroad tracks and the River. This was once an Industrial area of wharfs, Warehouses and manufacturing facilities.

The Bywater section of the park opened in 2014. The Marigny portion was completed in 2015. The Park offers some great views of the river and the downtown of New Orleans. It has a lot of natural landscaping and plants. It is very pet friendly. People love to walk, jog and bike in the park.

Later in the year the entire Crescent Park will begin to bloom with lots of colors and flowers.
