French Quarter Walking Parade
One of the many things people enjoy watching and interacting with are the walking parades in the French Quarter. If you own a second home in French Quarter, Marigny and Bywater you can just walk over to enjoy these colorful walks.
It is like a color party of colorful ladies having fun walking through the quarter down Bourbon and Royal Streets. They follow the jazz bands while they throw out trinkets and beads. The costumes are so colorful. The ladies are so happy.
The Krewe is one of several walking parades that wander through the Quarter during Mardi Gras season. This one starts about noon on Feb. 24, 2017. Great weather and lots of color walking the streets.
