It is 2.54 acres of fenced land between Frenchman and Elysian Fields. It is open daily from 8 am to 7 pm. Frenchman Street is famous for a local Music Venue. Now a great place to rest, talk, walk the dog, throw frisbees, and enjoy the outdoors. There is also a childs playground under the oak trees.

There are a number of events scheduled monthly at Washington Park. Events such as Festivals, Art Markets, Concerts and Meetings. The park is an easy walk from the Frend Quarter down Royal Street. The neighborhood is famouos for its music and art.
