The musicians play their version of Christmas carols through out the streets. The restaurants serve their festive fest and spirits.
Krewe of Jingle parade begins the holiday the first Saturday in December. Local Bands, floats, marching clubs are all part of this celebration. Ware your best Christmas customs. Young and old enjoy this parade. And there is always Mr Bingle to be in attendance. Beads are thrown from the parade floats. This parade is so popular that even Santa Clause ride in it before he has to get back to work at the North Pole
