Thinking about Sales in 2019

French Quarter Condos

2018 was a weak market in the French Quarter for second homes and primary homes for the condo market. The Market was also weak in the second half of 2017. There were a number of condos pried too high as many agents do not tell buyers what the prices should be. Always best to value the homes and condos correctly.

Too many sellers did not price their condos correctly and with few buyers many did not get shown a lot or sold.

Trend is now going up as we are seeing more buyers looking for places to purchase. The adjacent areas are also seeing more buyers as well. These are the Warehouse District and the Treme and Marigny Neighborhoods. There are few condos for sale in Bywater and Marigny these days
