Great Second Homers Have “Fun and Desires”

New Orleans Condos as Second Homes

      The vast majority of second homers buy New Orleans Condos as a place for their family and relatives to stay. Most of the buyers would buy in the French Quarter before 2000. There was a few places Uptown and in the Warehouse District. Now there are plenty of places adjacent from the French Quarter Condo Market. The Marigny, Treme and Bywater neighborhoods have become more popular now. There are also a lot of people that like to live on St. Charles and near St. Charles. Plenty of places to visit and you can take the streetcar to so many places.

     There are a lot of newer condo conversions in all these areas. The Warehouse District has many conversions and quite a few new buildings that were built for second home people. There are a number of condo complexes now under construction. 

    Mardi  Gras is a great time to visit and bring family and friends to New Orleans. There are a lot of decorations and many parades to enjoy during this time of year.

    Many buyers bought condos for their kids going to universities and medical schools and decided to keep them for a second home. Many buyers do not live that far away so they can drive down to their condo in New Orleans.
