        The Warehouse District is near the French Quarter on the other side of Canal Street. You have a lot of old warehouses that were converted into condos. The big difference in French Quarter Condos is that many will have parking and lots of amenities in the New Orleans Warehouse District. This is an example of one that I listed.

        Julia Place was once a Bemis Bag Factory constructed in about 1896 near the Port of New Orleans. Now you have a lot of hotels, New Orleans Convention Center, World Ware II Museum, and places to eat and drink within walking distance. You also have the outlet mall a few blocks down the street on the Mississippi River. 

       The condo at 333 Julia Street #308 has some very historic feels. The unit has 14 ft ceilings with concrete beams and columns. The Ceiling height makes the unit feel much bigger than it is. The seven windows give the unit natural light as it overlooks the atrium of Julia Place. The living room,kitchen and dining room had historic wood and tile floors with an open floor plan. It is an easy walk to the elevators and to the gated parking lot. Julia Place takes up the entire block which is a plus. The secure gated parking lot is a big plus and is worth easily $35,000 in this time period.

      Julia Place is in a great location. You can walk easily to the Convention Center, Outlet Mall on the Mississippi River, The World War II Museum. Julia Street is the center of the Warehouse District. Julia Place also has some of the best common areas with a great rooftop courtyard and pool along with a clubhouse. The Atrium has recently been updated and allows a lot of natural light into the units on the side of #308. The elevators and stairs are easy to use. The parking spot #58 is close to the entry door. An easy walk to the unit.
