July  4th Holiday

Great French Quarter Decorations and Flags

Great Visit for Locals and Second Homers

We were showing a listing of ours on 719 St. Ann Street Condo Between Bourbon and Royal the week before the July  4th Celebration. After seeing these great balconies with flags and plants I decided to go again the next day and take a walk and photo these great things.

People who live in the area and many who have second homes in the French Quarter, Marigny, Bywater and Warehouse District can walk to the French Quarter to see many of these great views and decorations. There are several things per month that people like to visit and look at. It is seldom you can see this kind of things anywhere else in the United States. The unique thing is that there are so many weeks that makes a walk really nice.

You can take the streetcar, drive or ride a bike from where you live. I always find a place to park but many of the locals walk or ride over to the area.

This is one of the main reason people like to buy condos and use them as second homes for themselves and their family. Lately we have seen a lot of second homers that live in other parts of South Louisiana. You also meet a lot of potential buyers from New York and Texas. They love to visit New Orleans with friends and relatives. Many of the local buyers let members of the family come to visit.

Love the Many American Flags on Balconies

Great Balconies with Plants and many Ferns

The balconies always look great with plants and many will have ferns in hanging baskets. This also changes with the season.
