Fats Domino Second Line

Remembering the Local Star

Dauphine in Bywater to Caffin Avenue in Lower 9th Ward

Antoine Dominique “Fats” Domino Jr. was an American pianist and singer-songwriter of Louisiana Creole descent. One of the pioneers of rock and roll music, Domino sold more than 65 million records. I remember him well as I had many of  his 45’s as a teen. Born Feb. 26,1928 and passed on October 24, 2017. Remember driving by his house on Caffin Avenue in the 1960’s when he was a New Orleans Star on the National Stage.

A very colorful celebration on November 1st to honor the Music Legend from New Orleans. New Orleans is like a small town as you always run into someone you know. It is also a great time to meet out of town clients looking for second homes in the area. There are so many Fests, Parties, Parades, Jazz, Eats and Drinks in the Bywater it is becoming a place to love and live.
