The condo 115 is on the first floor that opens to the courtyard. It has an assigned parking spot #63 and a storage unit not far away #33. The unit is 700 sq. ft. large according to the condo documents. That number includes the storage closet in the garage. The wood floors and tile floors in kitchen and bathroom. There is no carpet. The wood wide plank floors are really nice. The kitchen and bathroom has been updated recently. The entire unit has recently been painted with new fans and lots of artwork that stays with all the furniture. The dining room has an exposed brick wall.
The condo fees are $273 per month and includes water, insurance building, upkeep of all common areas and the building. This is a moderate fee for all you receive. There is a great manager that just took over from GNO Management. There is 24 hour security at the front desk. The common area Courtyard has a swimming pool, garden, patio with seats, fountains. Open the door and you are right in the courtyard. You have some nice courtyard views from the living room windows that have shutters. Natural light also.
The St. Charles condo is an easy walk to Magazine Street and Louisiana Avenue. Easy to catch the streetcar and watch parades in the other side of St. Charles Avenue. The historic neighborhood is really nice. Your guest can easily park in front of the condos and on the side streets. There is a common laundry for all units.
There have been a lot of recent updates to other condos in the building and the common areas look much nicer now. The rails and inside complex walls overlooking the courtyard were recently painted. There is an elevator upfront and many stairs to the second and third floor units. Always great have a first floor unit like this one.
